DAVID ADAMSON GROUP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. the shortlisted candidate will have to take care of providing comprehensive pre and post-contract cost management assignments or services for our projects and to assist client to achieve goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control processes.

Key Responsibilities at DAVID ADAMSON GROUP
Pre-Contract Services
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimation for new projects, including cost
planning, budget preparation, and value engineering analysis. - Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates based on project
requirements and specifications. - Evaluate tender submissions, conduct cost analysis, and provide recommendations to
support the selection of contractors and suppliers. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants
to achieve optimal project outcomes. - Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure
alignment of cost estimates with project objectives and client expectations.
Post-Contract Services
- Establish and maintain robust cost control systems and procedures to monitor project
expenditures, track variations, and manage change orders. - Prepare and review interim and final valuations, progress payments, and cost reports in
accordance with contract requirements. - Monitor project budgets, cash flows, and financial performance against forecasts and
provide timely updates to project stakeholders. - Identify potential risks, cost overruns, and opportunities for cost savings and
recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks and optimize project costs. - Participate in project meetings, reviews, and audits to provide cost-related inputs and
support effective decision-making.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to address cost-related
queries, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. - Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders and maintain open communication
channels to facilitate collaborative working relationships and enhance project
outcomes.
Role : Civil Quantity Surveyor (DAVID ADAMSON GROUP)
Civil quantity surveyor, Cost manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master’s
degree preferred. - Minimum 5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or related
roles, preferably within residential, commercial, Hotels, Institutes. - Professional accreditation such as RICS, CIOB, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings
and specifications. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple
priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or related
roles, preferably within residential, commercial, Hotels, Institutes.
