Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee electrical system designs for projects from bidding to construction.
- Produce detailed Revit models and electrical drawings.
- Review existing designs for efficiency improvements and value engineering.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, inspectors, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Address and resolve design challenges with innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in design-build or construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, installations, and systems design.
- Revit expertise is required.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
